Brennevinsgrova has quenched the thirst of people and creatures through ages

There once was a spring that never froze. Its crystal clear water has saved many travelers along the road - both people and their creatures. When winter stole the water from the village, the spring was where they quenched their thirst.

Local production

Deep in a valley on the outskirts of Sykkylven, surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene lies the distillery Brennevinsgrova. Inspired by its surroundings, Harald Strømmgjerde founded Brennevinsgrova on the family farm in 2019. Two years later, he has achieved remarkable awards for both taste and appearance of his products.

Sustainable raw materials

It is important for us to use good local ingredients in our products. Raspberries from Valldal and butare from Herøy, which together with the icy water from the glacier, give the gin a unique taste of Sunnmøre!
